Tomaž has some fab car park carving footage - we caught up with him to ask him about what he does..

I'm Tomaž Kranjec (38y) from Ljubljana, Slovenia.

I'm wing skating mainly on a nearby parking lot and I started last winter when I purchased my wing foil equipment.

I started since I wanted to be prepared for wing foiling on summer. Usually I skate with 7m² gong wing since we don't have strong winds that often and I'm 95kg.

I have a basic cruiser board from Decathlon and this last time I tested my gong 3m² wing that I bought as a "toy" or for VERY STRONG wind.

I'm always seeking for stronger winds since I like to go fast. I get my footage with the help of someone that is also there on a phone. I'm trying to internalize the movements for turns that would help me on water in the summer.

For beginners I usually say JUST START and you will see where it goes. Watch some YouTube tutorials and try first without skate. I never thought about competitions before but would consider joining if they make them.

Thanks Tomaž!
