Laila Wing Skating in the south west of France - Biarritz..

Laila kindly offered up her time to answer some questions around her wing skating - this is what she had to say..

My name is Laila Puehringer, I am Austrian and I live at the ocean in the south west of France in Biarritz.

Haven't been doing it for long. It was very easy and quick to learn.

No rain, sun and some good North west wind.

I use the Orao wings and boards.

I usually just have a Gpro hero 10 black with a small stick or a mouth mount. sometimes my hubby takes out the drone

I don't practice any tricks, my goals is to be a fluent as possible on the ride.

I am come from a kite backround so it took me 30 minutes to learn it haha.

For the first time don't go alone. maybe switch up with a friend to see what you both could do better and how its working. Just go to decathlon and get yourself a 4 m Orao wing and get started.

I rather see winging as a non mainstream sport. More free winging then comps.
