Félix winging it during lockdown..

Félix gained some invaluable land based wing skills during lockdown - we asked him a bit about what he does and this is what he had to say..

My name is Félix Dary, I come from Les Sables d’Olonne in France. I practiced very often during the lockdown when the wind was about 15knts to train to tack and jibe on a surfskate to be better on wingfoil.

I was riding on an abandoned road next to my House. To ride in 15knts on a surfskate, I think that a 5sqm wing is the perfect size.

I think that it’s suite dangerous to ride the road with a bigger wing. For me, wingskate is a very good way to have fun and work on new manoeuvres for wingfoil when you can’t go to the water.
