We caught up with Paride from Sardinia to ask him about his Wing Skating - here's what he had to say..

Hi I’m Paride Bovolenta from Italy. I live in Cagliari (Sardinia) where the team I work with is based.

It was actually only two years ago in a park stadium. A very wide area which is perfect for wingskate.

My fav spot is called “Poetto”. It’s an amazing waterfront with miles and miles of straight path where you can reach a very good speed.

I prefer to ride at late evening/night with a NW wind.

Sardinia provide always a very nice conditions. It’s a windy island and it’s to practice water sports like surf windsurf, kitesurf, sail and wingskate for more then 200 days for year.

Longboard is lovely on a straight line and cruising, and a surfskate for maneuvers.  I prefer small wings like 3 or 4. Big wings means big risk to drag the tips on the ground.

I know nothing about snow wing but should be nice to try the feeling too.

My advice for a newcomers is to start with small wing and  a longboard with the truck setting a little bit harder then normal.
